Cinnamon Candied Pecans

These pecans or, DEEZ NUTS (It never gets old!) are the easiest candied nut that I have ever tried. Not only are they super simple, but they are freaking delicious, yo! They are great in salads, as dessert toppings or all alone. Perfectly crunchy, they make an easy grab n’ go snack! I’m not going to drone on about them, though. You can have these in your hot little hands in about ten minutes start to finish!

You will need the following:

  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar, I used raw
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Throw all that crap in a non-stick skillet and toss it up. The sugar, butter and cinnamon will liquify and begin to bubble. Keep tossing the nuts through the mixture. It will start to thicken, keep stirring. Once it no longer looks foamy, slide them out onto some parchment paper and separate them with two forks working quickly to avoid clumping. Once they are cooled they will store together in an air tight moisture free environment just fine without sticking too much.

Do this! Seriously simple and super delicious. Swearing Mom out.
